I bring 20 years of dynamic communications expertise to the table, with a rich background across issue areas including climate, conservation, public education, health, human rights, and social justice. My lifelong passion for storytelling has shaped my career, which gained a sharp focus during my time at SF State, earning a Master’s in Public Administration (2010) with a concentration in Environmental Policy.
My journey has seen me at the forefront of nonprofit communications, advocating for green workforce development, sustainable food systems, environmental justice, health equity, and corporate social responsibility — always centering the goal of fostering a more sustainable, just, and accessible world in all of the work I do.
Beyond my professional life, I’m deeply rooted in Oakland with my family, balancing life as a mom of two, occasional blogger, and co-founder of Gooshi, a media venture dedicated to supporting kids and their families through storytelling.
